These Terms govern your use of the BURGO Green mobile application and website (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
BURGO Green lets you scan product barcodes and view information about product ingredients to support your everyday choices. The Service is for general informational purposes only.
Not medical advice
BURGO Green does not provide medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or health conditions. Always consult a qualified professional for questions about health, diet, allergies, medication interactions, pregnancy, or specific products.
Product and ingredient information
Product, ingredient, nutrition, allergen, additive, barcode and similar information may come from third-party databases, manufacturers, automated analysis, OCR, or other data sources. Information may be incomplete, outdated, incorrectly entered or recognised, or differ from the physical product. Always check the actual packaging and ingredient label.
Automated analysis
BURGO Green may use automated systems to analyse ingredient lists, labels, additives and product information. Classifications, warnings, scores and explanations are informational and may contain errors. Verify important information independently.
Free service
BURGO Green may offer a free version with scan limits, advertising, optional rewarded advertisements that may provide additional scans or functionality, and limitations on certain features. Specific limits may change.
Premium subscriptions
BURGO Green may offer monthly or annual Premium subscriptions. Features may include increased or unlimited scanning, removal or reduction of advertising, and additional functionality. Prices, billing periods and included features will be displayed before purchase.
Billing, renewal and refunds
Mobile subscriptions may be purchased and managed through the applicable marketplace, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, and may automatically renew unless cancelled under that marketplace's rules. Purchases and refund requests are generally subject to the applicable marketplace policies, except where law provides additional rights.
Advertising and rewarded ads
The free Service may display third-party advertisements. Rewarded ads may sometimes provide additional scans or another in-app benefit. Availability is not guaranteed and may depend on region, device, inventory or technical conditions.
Your account
If you create an account or sign in with a third-party provider, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.
Account deletion
You may delete your BURGO Green account from within the mobile application or follow our Account Deletion instructions. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active marketplace subscription; subscriptions must be managed through the marketplace where purchased.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse or disrupt the Service.
- Do not attempt unauthorised access to the Service or its data.
- Do not use the Service in violation of applicable laws or the rights of others.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its name, logo, design and content, is owned by BURGO Green or its licensors and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute protected parts of the Service without permission.
Third-party services
BURGO Green may rely on third-party services for authentication, product information, hosting, databases, analytics, advertising, payments, infrastructure and other functionality. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.
Service availability and changes
We may add, modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, third-party failures or circumstances outside our control.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BURGO Green will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights or other rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time and revise the “Last updated” date.
